Mean Musky
A 4-person board game based with similar rules to Euchre themed on Midwestern lake culture. Game includes custom playing cards, custom playing card box, rulebook, custom pieces, a wooden laser-cut scoreboard, laser-cut acrylic betting anchors, hand-painted 3D resin-printed dice, and hand-painted custom 3D resin-printed scorekeepers.
Package design
a place for everything…
…and everything has it’s place. I handmade the interior inserts of the box, and had the metal card box, cardboard box, and outer box printed professionally.
Playing cards
All illustrations are done by me. I was inspired by the lake fish of Wisconsin for the face cards, and included a Northern Pike, Musky, Bass, and Blue Gill. Suits are inspired by fishing and boating accessories.
Pieces + boards
The board was printed professionally, but the scoreboard was laser cut and engraved by me. I also 3D resin printed and hand painted the playing pieces.
